Feast your eyes on Agora’s #Fun2020 photo competition, featuring adorable images of people having a good time all around the world. More than 9,108 photos were participating in the free-to-use app’s contest, but only one winner gathered the most votes from the global community: congratulations to the newest Agora hero, Vietnamese photographer @trantuanviet!
The group of children above, laughing as they play with old motorcycle tires on a sand dune at Mui Ne, a Vietnamese coastal fishing town and one of that country’s most famous travel destinations, was selected as the overall winner of the World’s Best Photo of Fun photography competition.
“Every day, many children come to the dunes to play and work with their parents,” explains the photographer, who plans to donate the prize money to support the Vietnamese COVID-19 fund. “Children offer sand slides for hire and sell squeezed coconut; mothers sell powdered flour while the fathers drive the motorbike taxi. Children here are poor. They are not familiar with modern electronic devices like the children in the city. They work hard and they're always happy, their joy coming from simple games.”
