Continental introduces new ContiAttack SM 2 supermoto tire
Continental announced the launch of the new ContiAttack SM 2 supermoto tire. The successor to the popular ContiAttack SM, the new tire has been redesigned and improved in all areas.

The ContiAttack SM 2 will be available in two front and thre rear tire sizes in the first quarter of 2024.
Improved wear and tear
The ContiAttack SM 2 features increased tread depth compared to its predecessor. This provides improved wear and tear, especially on wet surfaces.
High stability and damping
The ContiAttack SM 2 features a new carcass design that provides high stability and damping. This makes it more comfortable to ride and helps to improve handling in extreme conditions.
Highly precise handling and performance
The ContiAttack SM 2 features Continental's sportiest carcass, inspired by Continental's racing slicks. This provides highly precise handling and performance, even at high speeds.
Maximum grip and safety in high lean angles
The ContiAttack SM 2 features Continental's GripLimitFeedback technology. This technology provides feedback to the rider as they approach the limit of grip, helping to improve safety in high lean angles.

The Metzeler tyre brand has been selected by XIEM as Official Tyre Supplier for the FIM Supermoto World and European Championship and for the FIM Supermoto of Nations. XIEM, the company that manages the television, marketing and promotional rights of these competitions, has chosen the German tyre brand as partner and sole supplier for the three-year period 2023-2025. All the teams and riders in the S1GP world category and the European S4 class, as well as in the competition for nations, will use Metzeler RACETEC SM tyres.
METZELER riders dominated the exciting series: Diego Monticelli (TM Racing Factory Team) triumphed in the Overall category while Mickael Bryan Amodeo of the SMX Team won in the S Open class.
The European GP, which took place over this weekend in Busca in the province of Cuneo, concluded the 2020 edition of the European Supermoto Championship and saw METZELER riders triumph in both categories, thanks to the extraordinary performances of the renewed RACETEC ™ SM range.

To continue the style of the Flat Trackers FTR 750, Indian has created Dunlop, a new Flat Track-inspired road tire produced exclusively for the FTR model series.
The DUNLOP DT3-R, featured on the FTR 1200 and FTR 1200 S, was modeled after the DT3 Flat Track race tire and now has a tighter tread with less depth and additional Silka for better grip on tarmac.

Metzeler announces immediate availability of the all new Racetec SM, a Supermoto racing slick tyre destined to lead key championships and cup series at the hands of both professional and racing for fun riders. A strong commitment by Metzeler to again achieve a leadership position in the racing world led to the creation of the Racetec Interact in 2009 and now to birth the next generation Racetec SM tyres, concluding a 5-year long full renovation of Metzeler's racing line.
Recent changes to Germany’s drivers’ license regulations have had a positive effect on the growth of the midsize-motorcycle market segment.
Up to now, the most commonly used tire size combination for this segment, 120/70 and 160/60-17, has not been available in the “M+S” marked version which German law requires for winter conditions.
To fill the gap in this growing market, Heidenau will introduce the already popular Heidenau K73 pattern in a special winter-version with “M+S”-marking. As all HEIDENAU motorcycle winter tires, these new tires will be manufactured using high-grade silica compounds to minimize braking distances and maximize grip on cold and wet road surfaces.
The combination of carcass, compound and open tread design ensures the traction required for winter conditions including mud and/or snow.
The tires will be on the market in mid October.
