Pirelli introduces new sizes of the Scorpion Rally tyre, 110/80-19 for the front and 150/70-17 for the rear, designed ad hoc for high displacement enduro street bikes like the BMW R 1200 GS and Yamaha XT1200Z Super Ténéré which, besides being the preferred type of touring vehicle, maintain a strong propensity for off-road in their DNA.

The first soft compound
Sava. The new »ENDURORIDER PRO COMP MC33« will be produced in two differenet compounds: soft and hard. There will be one front and two rear dimensions. Those particular riders who use their motorcycles for more aggressive riding in different conditions and on different surfaces will love to try the new MC33.(ES1) is recommended for riding on soft surface, mud, grass, forest and soft soil. The second hard compound (EH1) is recommended for riding on hard surface, gravel, macadam and rocks.
The tyre is produced according to F.I.M. Regulation.

"... Sieger nach Punkten im großen Motorradreifen-Vergleichtest von MOTORRAD ist mit klarem Abstand der Continental Tail Attack. Neben der starken Vorstellung auf trrockener Strasse überzeugt er mit dem besten Verschleißverhalten. Bei Regen funktioniert der Conti zwar immer noch gut, muss sich auf nasser Fahrbahn aber mit Platz 3 begnügen. Der Metzeler Tourance EXP liegt mit Abstand vor dem zweitbesten Regentänzer, dem Michelin Anakee II, hält in punkto Verschleiß aber die rote Lanterne. Bleibt als Empfehlung: Vielfahrende Allrounder greifen zu dem Conti. Wem die Laufleistung nicht so wichtig ist und wer mehr Wert auf einen tollen Reifen für Regentage legt, ist mit dem Metzeler Tourance EXP bestens bedient. "
