The most popular Avon profile in the scene is the AVON COBRA CHROME, which is available in over 70 dimensions for choppers, cruisers and touring bikes - the most impressive is certainly the size 330/30R17, which will also be on display at the trade fair stand. Other products on display will include the 3D Supersport hypersport tire, the AVON SPIRIT ST sports touring tire and the AVON ROADRIDER MKII diagonal touring tire.

Goodyear's long-term strategy is to use the motorcycle competence center in Montlucon (France) to drive the development of both brands. Many of the Dunlop brand's premium motorcycle tires as well as the racing tires for the Moto2 World Championship™ and the Endurance World Championship (EWC) are developed and produced in Montlucon.

The custom-designed MICHELIN Scorcher Sport tyres have been selected to equip the first Harley-Davidson LiveWire all-electric motorcycle. The new Michelin Scorcher Sport tire, co-developed and co-branded with Harley-Davidson, is designed to enhance the ride and handling performance of Harley-Davidson’s first electric motorcycle, leading a planned portfolio of electric two-wheelers aimed to establish Harley-Davidson as the leader in the electrification of motorcycles.
The MICHELIN Scorcher Sport tire integrates Michelin’s innovative Dual Compound Technology (2CT and 2CT+), the most advanced compounds ever used in MICHELIN Scorcher tires. These compounds extend the performance of the MICHELIN Scorcher tire range by providing outstanding levels of wet and dry grip. Along with advanced compounds developed through years of sport radial tire innovation and extensive track testing, this technology enables the MICHELIN Scorcher Sport tire to provide wear resistance in the center of the tread with optimized grip on the shoulders, and also features a radial casing tuned specifically to extract the maximum performance from Harley-Davidson’s newest motorcycle.

With the new CRUISETEC, METZELER extends its successful V-Twin range towards performance-oriented use. This tyre upgrades the handling of current and older motorcycles, featuring remarkable grip even in wet conditions, ground-breaking performance consistency and innovative stability features. CRUISETEC features ground-breaking specifications for tread pattern, compound recipe, and carcass specifications in the production of tyres for V-Twin motorcycles.
Avon Tyres has launched its new motorcycle tyre the Cobra Chrome AV91 / AV92 cruising tourer tyre range, now with improved longevity and more fitment options than ever.
It is a replacement for the popular Cobra range which has a well-established reputation in the custom and cruiser segments.
With an advanced construction design, the Cobra Chrome delivers improved stability and durability in all conditions for precise feel and tyre feedback. Avon’s latest pattern produces over a 5 percent larger footprint to maximise grip and uses the latest compound technology to improve tread life by 10 percent compared with its predecessor. The use of enhanced compounds means that the Cobra Chrome offers excellent wet braking and handling properties.
British-based Avon Tyres has extended its Cobra motorcycle tyre range, introducing four new sizes to suit the latest Harley-Davidson Big Twin model updates.
There are two new front fitments, 130/60 B19 AV71 and 130/60 B21 AV71, suitable for the Street Glide and CVO Breakout models, among others. On the rear, riders can now choose the Cobra in 160/70 B17 AV72 and 180/55 B18 AV72 sizes. Avon has a long history of producing motorcycle tyres in custom and cruiser fitments. Its Cobra range combines the super-tough construction necessary for heavy-duty custom loads, with sports tyre technology for improved handling and performance. The METZELER brand extends its range of the well-known Sport Touring tyre, ROADTEC™ 01 , with existing radial fitments now complemented by brand new X-ply sizes. Available from March 2018 onwards, the new range extension will provide may more fitments for the highly successful and award-winning tyre.
Highly appreciated since its early 2016 introduction, with victories in the comparative tests of some of the most prestigious international motorcycle magazines, METZELER’s new ROADTEC™ 01 X-ply sizes will provide fitments for older motorcycles as well as the new, smaller capacity motorcycles making a strong return to the market.
