Mitas is set to launch its new Speedway tyre, designed specifically for intense speedway racing, just in time for 2024 heats. The tyre was developed and tested in conjunction with professional racers in Europe, Australia and the USA and meets the highest regulation standards set by the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM).

Mitas is set to launch its new SPEEDWAY tire, designed specifically for intense speedway racing, just in time for 2024 heats. The tire was developed and tested in conjunction with professional racers in Europe, Australia and the USA and meets the highest regulation standards set by the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM).

A new tubeless version will be available in 2023 from the MITAS SW-07 SPEEDWAY wich was presented last year.
Marked with two orange stripes for better differentiation.


03/13/2022 Mitas introduces a new version of the MITAS SW-07 SPEEDWAY tire, one of the tires most commonly used by speedway racers all over the world. The most advanced speedway tire Mitas has ever made, it is specifically designed for the highest level of competitive speedway racing.

A newly developed compound and construction for the SW-07 SPEEDWAY tire provides improved grip and footprint, delivering an extraordinary performance throughout the race. The new version is easily recognizable by an orange stripe marking on the tread pattern.

All the tire features of this new Mitas tire are strictly designed and implemented in accordance with International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) regulations and it can therefore be used in all races and championships under FIM.

Mitas, part of the Trelleborg Group, celebrates 2020 FIM Speedway Grand Prix World podium finish with Polish hero Bartosz Zmarzlik, Great Britain’s icon Tai Woffinden and Swedish star Fredrik Lindgren, all of which ride Mitas Speedway Competition tires.

To continue the style of the Flat Trackers FTR 750, Indian has created Dunlop, a new Flat Track-inspired road tire produced exclusively for the FTR model series.

The DUNLOP DT3-R, featured on the FTR 1200 and FTR 1200 S, was modeled after the DT3 Flat Track race tire and now has a tighter tread with less depth and additional Silka for better grip on tarmac.

120/70 -19 (60V) DT3-R
150/80 -18 (70V) DT3-R

Mitas, part of Trelleborg Group, has signed sponsorship agreements with eight riders competing in the 2018 FIM Speedway Grand Prix, which decides the 73rd FIM Speedway World Championship.

Mitas will be a tire sponsor for Jason Doyle (2017 World Champion), Patryk Dudek, Tai Woffinden (2013 and 2015 World Champion), Bartosz Zmarzlik, Emil Sayfutdinov, Matej Žagar, Martin Vaculik and Przemyslaw Pawlicki.
