The positive experience with the 4.00-18 K28, which is used on the #URAL_RETRO, among other things, has prompted Heidenau to also bring the 4.00-19 dimension onto the market as a sidecar tire. Here too, the large contact area will ensure that the driving forces are distributed optimally and wear is minimized.
The newly developed tire structure is also specially designed to transfer the steering forces of the sidecar to the road in a targeted manner, thus ensuring good handling and braking behavior.
The 4.00 -19 TT Heidenau K28 motorcycle tire will be available from retailers from spring 2015.
July 2011 - The Heidenau K28 is a newly developed motorcycle tire for sidecar use.
The square contour of the tire distributes drive and steering forces over a large contact area.
This and the stable longitudinal profiling in the center of the tire reduce wear and thus increase mileage.
Another advantage of this special tire construction is the high wet grip, which is achieved through the use of new mixture additives.
The Heidenau K 28 is available in the dimension 4.00-18 M/C 70P TT, for classic BMW or Moto Guzzi sidecars.
