Continental enlarges the cooperation with BMW Motorrad and is now also originally equipped on the Urban G/S model of the BMW R nineT. Anyone who purchases this model in 2021 with off-road tires will receive the bike fitted with TKC 80 tires from Continental.

The Austrian motorcycle manufacturer KTM and Continental Motorcycle Tires announce a great cooperation in the new year: the sporty naked bike 890 DUKE will have two hot soles on its rims as standard for its market launch in 2021: the “ContiRoad”. This latest sport touring tire is a new development from Korbach and produced in a Continental factory in Asia using latest machines and technologies. CONTINENTAL TKC 70 Rocks - The fourth challenger in Continental's 2020 tire assault is the TKC 70 Rocks – a rear tire without a solid backbone and with knobs over the entire tread pattern. It's a cross between the TKC 70 and TKC 80 and can be used on wider types of terrain than the TKC 70 and is better on the road than the TKC 80, offering an attractive alternative with greater versatility and freedom. The TKC 70 Rocks can be combined with the front wheel tires of the TKC 70, creating an additional tire option for those who yearn for the horizon offroad.
Specially developed for Maxi Classic Racing, this tyre has already proven its superior performance. While still in development, the Bridgestone Battlax Classic Racing CR11 was a winner at the FIM Europe classic endurance championship (EEC). At the 4-hours Biker’s Classic in Spa-Francorchamps, it helped #10 Poweracing-Japauto take home first place and team #5 Roadrunner pick up the second place. In damp and tricky conditions, the best lap time and the
fastest pace were recorded with Bridgestone tyres.
