Shipping of racing / slick tyres at the winter time - low temperatures

We have a lot of problems during the winter, to ship racing motorcycle tyres in cold reagions. They can get broken ;((
So we can't ship from now on anymore by temperatures below 5°C / 41°F
But if you realy need the tyres during winter time and you take the risc, we can pack them safe in a box what cost us +5,00 € / box and we have to charge you.

Recommendations for correct maintenance and use of race tyres in cold environments.

Attention! This tyre contains maximum performance rubber compounds and requires special treatment when expose to low temperatures below 5°C / 41°F

At this temperatures the tyres has reduced flexibility can result in cracking of the compound if the tyre is not handled correctly.

In order to avoid damages to the compound at low temperatures, please follow the instructions below:

• These tyres should always be stored at temperature higher than 5°C / 41° F
   Avoid the tyre to have impacts and/or deformations of any kind when temperatures is lower.
• Before fitting or unfitting the tyres should be stored in a controlled environment at a minimum temperature on 20° C / 68° F  for at least 24 hours.
• When a tyre shows cracks in the compound it should not be used.
