Bridgestone Corporation (Bridgestone) today announced that it will launch the premium sports motorcycle tyre Bridgestone BATTLAX RACING STREET RS12 in January 2026 for the European and markets. Under the concept of “From Circuit to Street”, by incorporating race tyre technology, the BATTLAX RACING STREET RS12 delivers the highest level of dry grip performance in the road-legal tyre lineup of BATTLAX.
Key technologies featured in the BATTLAX RACING STREET RS12
Incorporating technologies proven through continued success in motorcycle endurance races, the new BATTLAX RACING STREET RS12 delivers comprehensive improvements in circuit performance, with a particular emphasis on dry grip. The lap time is significantly reduced compared to the previous model, the BATTLAX RACING STREET RS11. In addition, by optimizing the combination of compound, tread pattern design and structure, the tyre maintains high grip performance even after multiple laps. As a result, it provides riders with safety, peace of mind and enjoyment across a wide range of riding conditions - from sporty riding on dry roads to winding roads and circuit tracks.
With the new Continental TKC 802, Continental presents the all-new second generation of its legendary TKC 80 motorcycle tire after four decades and sets new standards for the travel enduro and adventure motorcycle segment. The demand for off-road experiences is growing worldwide – an increasing number of motorcyclists are seeking challenges away from the road. At the same time, big and more powerful adventure bikes are placing the highest demands on tires: more road performance; more traction; more adventure. As the strongest off-road product in Continental's Motorcycle Tire portfolio, the TKC 802 offers a feeling of freedom without compromise.
Continental motorcycle tires are redefining performance. The new ContiSportAttack 5 is the latest generation of supersport tires for those who seek maximum driving dynamics without compromise. Developed on the racetrack; perfected for the road – the ContiSportAttack 5 delivers outstanding grip, superior cornering, precise steering response and lightning-fast warm-up. This latest evolution of the supersport tire will be available in the first quarter of 2026.
The ContiSportAttack 5 is even sportier than its predecessor, the ContiSportAttack 4, and is designed as an 80/20 tire for the supersport segment. This makes it the ideal choice for riders who want to get the most out of their (super) sport and naked motorcycles – both on winding country roads and during occasional racetrack training sessions.
When Peter Hickman and Jeremy Guarnoni crossed the finish line to win the 6 Heures Moto de Spa-Francorchamps in September, their goal was complete. But for these two seasoned racers, the goal that day wasn’t to win the race. It was to test tires.
The Dunlop Test Team is one of the most interesting development programmes in motorcycle racing. Managed by Steven Casaer (EMC37) with engineers from Dunlop’s technical centre in Montluçon, France, the programme harnesses the expertise of top riders to test the next generation of racing and track day tires in the toughest and most realistic conditions - real races.
“Testing in this environment is different to just testing on a normal track,” Hickman explains. “It means that when we are passing people, we're going off the racing line, trying different parts of the track that we wouldn't do if we're testing on our own. We get to use the tire in a different way and in the type of realistic conditions it’s actually going to get used in.”
Bridgestone will launch its track-only premium motorcycle tyre, the Bridgestone RACING BATTLAX V03, to the European and North American markets in 2026.
The new Bridgestone RACING BATTLAX V03 is designed for both professional and amateur riders who pursue speed and the highest levels of grip.
The latest addition to Bridgestone’s motorcycle tyre range incorporates technologies refined through years of success in the world’s most prestigious racing events, delivering exceptional grip. And, for the first time, Bridgestone introduces a rear ‘SPRINT spec’, providing a wide range of options according to race type and track conditions.
Unrivalled Grip in BATTLAX History
The new Bridgestone RACING BATTLAX V03 is equipped with newly-developed compounds based on technology that has continuously triumphed in the world’s top-tier races – including the FIM Endurance World Championship, which has been won by a Bridgestone-supplied team for five consecutive years.
The tyre applies a completely redesigned profile for both the front and rear tyres, resulting in an increased contact area. In particular, the rear tyre adopts advanced production techniques, achieving an optimal profile that significantly improves lap times.
Thanks to these innovations, the Bridgestone RACING BATTLAX V03 delivers overwhelming grip, significantly reducing lap times when compared to its predecessor, the RACING BATTLAX V02. Comparing the SOFT compound performances of both tyres, the RACING BATTLAX V03 reduces lap times by 1.3 per cent per lap – while still maintaining the typical Bridgestone DNA of high grip even after multiple laps.
RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) in motorcycle tires involves embedding a small, passive electronic chipset and antenna within the tire itself. This technology is revolutionizing tire management and traceability throughout the entire lifecycle of the tire.
Metzeler is set to command the spotlight at EICMA 2025, unveiling three highly anticipated new tyres that are poised to elevate performance across the supersport and adventure segments.
The brand will feature the new supersport SPORTEC 01 and its sportier sibling, the SPORTEC 01 RS, alongside the adventure-ready KAROO 4 Street enduro on/off tyre. Motorcycle enthusiasts can check out the new lineup at Booth i54 in Pavilion 5 of EICMA in Milan, running from November 4-9, 2025.
For over a decade, the Metzeler SPORTEC line has been the benchmark for supersport tyres, celebrated for its versatility, high performance, and exceptional wet-weather grip—a heritage built on extensive road racing experience, including the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy.
The new SPORTEC 01 and SPORTEC 01 RS are engineered to continue this successful tradition. Developed for sporty riders demanding high performance and reliability, both models introduce the enhanced, patented DYNATREAD™ technology to the supersport field. This innovation provides an adaptive tread pattern that significantly improves grip and high-speed stability.
SPORTEC 01: Serving as the direct successor to the SPORTEC M9 RR, this tyre is designed for aggressive road use. It offers riders control in all conditions, providing superior mileage and better wet-weather performance compared to the RS version.
SPORTEC 01 RS: The most extreme, road-legal version of the 01, the RS is built to deliver maximum grip and is perfectly suited for track day enthusiasts. It allows riders to enjoy the highest level of sport riding on the street and head straight to the circuit without the hassle of changing tyres or transporting their bike.
Meeting the surging demand from the Adventure motorcycle market, the new KAROO 4 Street joins the acclaimed Metzeler KAROO family. Designed for modern high-end adventure and maxi enduro bikes, this tyre is optimised for 70% road and 30% off-road use, succeeding the KAROO Street.
The KAROO 4 Street maintains a rugged, knobbly aesthetic while focusing on excellent on-road performance in both dry and wet conditions, coupled with competent off-road capability on dirt roads. Riders of modern Adventure bikes looking for stability, comfort, and good mileage will appreciate its features, which include:
Improved on-road handling thanks to new profiles.
More uniform wear achieved through greater separation of the central knobs.
Enhanced acoustic comfort from a multi-pitch knob design.
Better off-road traction on softer terrain compared to its predecessor.
These three new tyres will be integrated into the Metzeler 2026 range and are scheduled to be available for purchase in the first months of next year, with exact timing varying by region.
Dunlop Launches All-New Dunlop Geomax EN92 Enduro Tire
Dunlop has unveiled its new Geomax EN92 enduro tire, designed to give riders better performance and versatility on a wide variety of off-road terrain. The Geomax EN92 replaces the popular Geomax EN91 and is available in two different compounds: the standard Geomax EN92 for medium conditions and the Geomax EN92 SOFT for wet, rocky, and root-filled trails.
The new tires were developed using insights from Dunlop's long history in top-level off-road racing, a legacy that includes numerous wins at the 6DAYS FIM Enduro of Nations and other championships. The Geomax EN92 is engineered to provide excellent grip, traction, and compliance, making it suitable for both professional racers and weekend riders.
The Geomax EN92 features several key innovations to improve its performance:
Softer Profile: A more rounded sidewall increases rider comfort and compliance over rough terrain.
Improved Front Tire: The front tire features an optimized block layout with a reduced land ratio for better grip on hard, rocky surfaces. Progressive Cornering Block Technology (PCBT) helps the tire dig into dirt and improves cornering grip.
Advanced Rear Tire: The rear tire includes V-Block Technology (V-BT) for exceptional traction and control, and Reinforced Scoop Technology (RST) to help the tire dig into soft ground. It also uses PCBT to increase flexibility and improve grip when leaning.
These technologies work together to deliver better grip, predictability, and compliance in both dry and wet conditions.
The new Geomax EN92 line-up will be available in Europe starting in early 2026, with Geomax Mousse puncture-proof inserts available in late 2025 and early 2026.

The 2025 Isle of Man TT witnessed a “new” brand of tire being raced around the famous 37.75 mile Mountain Course. Mitas joined the established tire companies with four riders racing on the SPORT FORCE+ RS treaded race tires in the Supertwin class.
After a successful Manx GP in 2024, Julien Crégniot stepped up to the TT riding an Aprilia RS660 for the Scott Racing team. Teammate Joe Yeardsley decided to run Mitas on his Supertwin machine as well, having been impressed with the performance and wear in pre-season testing. Also riding Aprilia RS660’s on Mitas tires were Frenchman Wayne Bourgeais and Irishman Darryl Tweed, the experienced road racer swapping to Mitas at the last minute.
