Mitas CUSTOM FORCE features all the important characteristics of a high-performance custom cruiser tire: durability, stability, comfort and an attractive design. Entry into the Custom cruiser tire segment represents a new chapter in the Mitas journey to becoming a full range motorcycle tire manufacturer.
The new range has been extensively tested under the most strenuous conditions possible in the U.S. as well as in different countries across Europe, to ensure the best performance.
Ksenija Bitenc, director of the Mitas Motorcycle Tires division, says:
“Premium materials, along with a robust carcass ensure great riding performance at different speeds, under all weather conditions and on different road surfaces. Particular attention was taken during the development stage to ensure best-in-class braking and handling under wet conditions. No detail was left to chance to ensure the full satisfaction of riders even on longer journeys with a pillion rider and luggage.
“The attractive tread pattern design, with its elegant grooves, is in the shape of a moving snake; a fantastic complement to the tire for real custom cruiser riders.”
Mitas CUSTOM FORCE will be available for sale from January 2020 in following sizes:
The Bridgestone Battlax BT46 is set to replace the iconic Battlax BT45. Since its introduction 22 years ago, the Battlax BT45 has been the go-to tyre for touring. Now, Bridgestone has upgraded this design with modern technology.
The Battlax BT46 features an inverted V-shape in the front pattern - it tackles working forces on the tyre, reduces irregular wear and gives the rider incredible feedback for superior handling. The rear tyre is enhanced with a newly adapted silica single compound to maximise performance, grip and wear. Wet performance has been upgraded from the BT45, with no impact on the predecessor’s well-known dry handling performance and wear resistance. And the BT46 is compatible with UM application: tubeless marked tyres are approved for mounting on tube type rims if they are used with a tube.
Bridgestone has specially developed this tyre to cover the wide range of motorcycles competing in the touring segment. Available in 21 sizes for the front and 27 sizes for the rear. Ten main sizes will be launched in January 2020, with a rollout of the full line to follow soon after.

Avon's Trailrider dual sport rubber comes as standard on the new KTM 790 Adventure
British motorcycle brand Avon Tyres is the original equipment (OE) fitment for the KTM 790 ADVENTURE launched at EICMA 2018 (6-11 November), in Milan.
As a lightweight, high performance bike that is equally happy on the street as it is off-road, the KTM 790 ADVENTURE has spoked wheels in true off-road sizes. With a 21-inch front wheel and 18-inch rear, these come fitted with AVON TRAILRIDER tyres – a dual sport option.
Avon has been developing motorcycle tyres for more than a century, and its TrailRider adventure sport touring tyre provides extra mileage, stability and grip in all weather conditions on all surfaces.
The TrailRider features the latest in carcass construction technology along with Avon’s tri-compound tread, which provides a softer compound on the tread edge, for more grip; a harder centre compound for mileage, and a low-hysteresis bonding compound under the surface tread. The tread compounds themselves are very high in silica, for superb wet weather performance.
The company’s tyre innovations include the ContiTrailAttack 3, the third generation of the agile onroad/offroad tyre.
An abundance of impressive innovations makes the ContiTrailAttack 3 a true all-rounder for adventuring and for everyday use. It offers remarkable agility, which it is able to achieve following an extremely short warm-up run of no more than 1500 meters - this is all it requires to reach its optimum operating temperature. In addition, the new Continental Adventurer masters off-road and asphalt routes just as easily as it does varying road conditions, from bone dry to completely saturated.
Thanks to the smooth interaction of the three cornerstones caused by Continental´s MutiGrip-technology with extra abrasion-resistant center section, balanced carcass construction and the special profile design, the ContiTrailAttack3 becomes a faithful friend with consistently reliable properties throughout its entire lifetime: Superior agility, precise handling, high comfort and sensitive feedback are the result of this extraordinarily effective Continental technology.
